Welcome to the Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal 80th Anniversary
In 2015 we marked the 75th Anniversary of Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal, Now called Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD).
101 (City of London) Engineer Regiment (EOD) and it's Association played their part in the commemoration and celebration of the 75th Anniversary. In 2020 we mark the 80th Anniversary
The Regiment and the Association have attended a series funerals for members of Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal who performed acts of courage and heroism on more or less a daily basis during WW2.
A series of Events marking the 75th anniversary were held from July 2014 until a culminating service held at St Pauls Cathedral in October 2015.
Our History Research Committee Members led by Maj Phil Davis QVRM TD have put together a brief written summary of 80 Years of Royal Engineers Bomb Disposal.
