On Saturday 8th November 2025, 101 Engineer Regiment was represented at the Lady Mayors show in the City of London.

A float mounted on the back of a Army MAN support vehicle depicted a typical 1940's house live diorama with an unexploded bomb in the living room being worked on by a Royal Engineer section. The diorama was complete with a man on the loo, and a man in the bath.

The 101 Engr Regt contingent was provided by 221 Squadron (EOD-S) RE led by Capt Sam Greville-Smith (2IC). Other members of the squadron surrounded the lorry with search detectors and in combat patrol representation.The BBC interviewed Capt Greville-Smith as part of their coverege 0f the event, broadcast live during the morning on BBC1.
