The Regiment is one of two Royal Engineer specialist Bomb Disposal regiments. Our sister Regiment being 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD&S ). Additionally, 11 Regiment (EOD&S) RLC specialises in Counter Terrism and conventional munitions support within the UK.
Remembrance
Following the retirement of our 'In Memoriam' web page with our old website at the end of 2025, we have been 're-imagining' our new Remembrance web page under the main website menu.
The new page details our Regiments pre-1946 roll of honour, the Bomb Disposal roll of honour, the Regiments decorations and awards, and a re-imagined in-memoriam section. The detailed in-memoriam biography cards are under construction with a target completion date for this years Remembrance Sunday.
This September we remember two of our former CO's, Aidan and Steve at our 2026 Annual Dinner. You can see more details on them in the In Memoriam secton.
On Remembrance Sunday we will be attending the service at our 'spiritual home', St Lukes church,Chelsea, followed by a social event. If you wish to attend click the button below.
Black Cat Watch
The Black Cat Watch is our periodical newsletter, it contains information on the recent activities of the Regiment, it features the latest news on EOD capability and innovations , it has an update section on worldwide EOD news, and it provides a sample of the latest UK UXO incidents.
Association members visit our WW1 fallen in France
Week commencing 29th June 26, members of the Association attended France to visit some of the WW1 graves commemorating members of the Regiment, whilst also attended the anniversary memorial service for the start of the battle of the Somme on the 1st July.
