The Regiment is one of two Royal Engineer specialist Bomb Disposal regiments. Our sister Regiment being 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD-S). Additionallty, 11 Regiment (EOD-S) RLC specialises in Counter Terrism and conventional munitions support within the UK.

The Regiment currently consists of 3 Squadrons:
- 217 Field Squadron (EOD & S)
- 221 Field Squadron (EOD & S)
- 579 Field Squadron (EOD & S)
- RHQ is located at the Catford ARC.
